Over the past few months, despite reluctance from the SNP/Labour-run Fife Council, the Fife Liberal Democrats have been pushing for an exit plan from the restrictions at Fife’s recycling centres. Recently the Council has agreed to make the changes necessary.

Aude Boubaker-Calder has welcomed this, saying

“Many Fifers were worried the restricted numbers and the booking system at recycling centres would be a permanent change and the Lib Dems made clear this should not happen. Thankfully the Council has recently listened to sense and the restrictions will be lifted.”
